It's also a good exercise for me in linking to a website on my blog, because images of wordles are licensed and you have to quote http://www.wordle.net/ if you use an image you've created, and makes it easy for anyone to find!
I found it by investigating Delicious which is week 5, and was just having a look at lists of blogs and Web 2.0 and found Wordle. I can't wait to get all my favourites organised at home.
When I first used wordle I thought I had to cut and paste it into paint, but if you publish it, and add the code that wordle provide, it loads it straight onto blog posts. Love it!
I love Wordle! If only I could find a use for one somewhere though...the ones I've made are just saved on my computer and have no purpose whatsoever.

Hi, lovely idea. I created a word cloud and I've tried to cut and paste the URL it gives for my design in Wordle <ahref etc, but when pasting into the image box in my blog header it seems to 'run out of space' and won't accept it. Wonder what I'm doing wrong, or how did you get round this?
ReplyDeleteHi Katrina, sorry for delay, I didn't realised I had to actually check my comments...thought I would be automatically alerted to them somehow! Anyway, Wordle, did you click the publish button? This then saves it to Wordle, and they give you a 'code' to paste into your blog post - let me know how you get on!
ReplyDeleteLove Wordle. Looking foward to doing something creative
